New Delhi: Today is the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the country's former PM and senior-most leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a great leader as well as a very effective speaker. Today, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, many people are remembering the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and paying homage to him through social media.

Today we are going to share an anecdote related to Atal Ji. This is the story of 1999 when India's immediate PM Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji started the bus service from India to Pakistan. During the launch of the Amritsar-Lahore bus service, PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee himself travelled to Lahore by bus.  After arriving in Lahore, he was greeted with a strong welcome. After his speech there, a Pakistani woman journalist, asking PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee questions, smartly hurled the Kashmir issue.

The lady journalist told PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, "I want to marry you, but I have a condition that you give me ' Kashmir ' in the 'Muh Dikhai'. Atal Ji first laughed at the point of the lady journalist and then he said, "I am ready, but I want the whole of Pakistan in dowry." Everyone laughed at this smart answer of the former PM of India.
