Los Angeles: Acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker Jordan Peele has announced the release date of his fourth movie, scheduled to hit theaters on October 23, 2026. The Oscar-winning director will once again team up with Universal Pictures for this highly anticipated project.

Peele himself revealed the release date, posting "10.23.26" on social media. The yet-untitled film was initially slated for release on December 25, 2024, but production delays ensued due to dual strikes by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

Earlier this year, Peele discussed his upcoming project on the "Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend" podcast, as reported by entertainment news outlet Variety. "I do feel like my next project is clear to me, and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favorite movie if I make it right," he remarked.

Peele's collaboration with Universal Pictures began with his directorial debut in 2017 with "Get Out," which garnered him the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. The film featured a star-studded cast including Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Lil Rel Howery, LaKeith Stanfield, Bradley Whitford, Caleb Landry Jones, and Catherine Keener.

He followed up with "Us" in 2019, starring Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, and Elisabeth Moss, and most recently "Nope" in 2022, headlined by Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer.
