Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. She is also a renowned faces of South Industry. She has also appeared in some Tamil, Bollywood and Kannada movies. In a short space of time, Rakul Preet Singh has established herself as one of the leading Telugu film actresses. Rakul Preet Singh was born on October 10, 1990, in New Delhi, India to Rajender Singh an Army Officer and Kulwinder Singh. The actress is today celebrating her birthday.

Rakul Singh is very popular actresses in South Industry, Her name was once linked with Bahubali Actor Ranaduggabatti. After which the actress broker her silence and said,  "Rana and I are very good friends. He’s there for me whenever I need him. I stay in Hyderabad, away from family, and there I have a group of 15-20 friends. Rana and I are a part of the group. So, we often hang out together and are neighbours, too."

She further said: "In the group, only two-three [people] are single, and we’re among them. And I think people tend to link those who are single." The two actors, who have often been linked, are now in happy relationships with their respective partners. While Rana is happily married to Miheeka Bajaj, Rakul is in a blissful relationship with producer-actor Jackky Bhagnani.

On the professional front Rakul Preet has been an active golf player and played at national levels. Rakul Preet Singh started her career as a model while she was in college and did several commercial flyers. Rakul participated in the 'Femina Miss India Pageant' where she was placed fifth and won five pageant titles including 'Miss India People's Choice'. She made her film debut with Kannada movie 'Gilli' directed by Raghava Loki in 2009.
