TikTok star and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sonali Phogat passed away in Goa after suffering a heart attack. The Bharatiya Janata Party had fielded her from the Adampur assembly seat in Hisar district, though she lost the election. Kuldeep Bishnoi, who was a Congress leader in the 2019 elections, was the candidate against Sonali. The Haryana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party had also appointed her as the state vice-president of the Mahila Morcha.
Sonali Phogat has also appeared in TV's popular reality show Bigg Boss 14 where she had a tremendous fight with TV's famous actress and lady boss Rubina Dilaik. In Bigg Boss, Sonali Phogat abused Rubina, after which Rubina Dilaik loses her temper. This video related to the show became fiercely viral on social media.

Sonali Phogat was born on September 21, 1979, in Fatehabad, Haryana. Sonali Phogat started her career in 2006 with anchoring in Hisar Doordarshan. Two years later, in 2008, Sonali joined the BJP. Since then, Sonali has been an active member of the BJP. Sonali had contested the Haryana Assembly elections from the Adampur assembly seat in Hisar district but lost the election.
