Basti: On Thursday, the encounter in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh is being discussed all over the country. Eight policemen were martyred and many were injured during the incident. Just like that, the incident took place four months ago in Basti district. This thing is on December 6, 2019, when Master Mind Feroz Pathan along with his colleagues looted ICICI Bank in Basti district. Since this incident, the police was constantly looking for it. Meanwhile, on 24 February 2020, on the information of Mukhbir, STF and Basti Police killed Feroze in an encounter.

Meanwhile, two suspects riding on a bike were seen going towards Mahadeva and Lalganj, when the police team tried to stop them, they started fleeing, the police team reached near Suhela village in pursuit, while the young man sitting behind fell from the bike. Meanwhile, seeing the benefit of situation, the bike driver escaped from it. After falling off the bike, the young man started firing on the police team.

After that, the police team also started firing, due to which the young man got three bullets. Meanwhile, an STF soldier was also injured. His identity as Feroze alias Irfan Pathan, who was the mastermind of the ICICI Bank robbery case, from DL received from the injured youth's pockets. A carbine, 315 indigenous pistols were recovered from him. Police rushed him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. There was a reward of one lakh from Gorakhpur on Pathan and 50 thousand from the Prayagraj range.
