New Delhi: The wait for monsoon may be longer for the people of Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), people of Delhi-NCR may have to wait till July 1 for the monsoon. There is no possibility of rain in Delhi right now. However,  there is a possibility of a western disturbance. This can lead to a thunderstorm in northwest India. At present, Delhiites have got relief from heat wave.

Meteorologist (IMD) Soma Sen Roy has informed that there is no change in the weather of Delhi-NCR at the moment. Slight changes will not have any impact on the weather. Since the beginning of March this year, western disturbances have continuously made the weather of Delhi pleasant. Due to this, rainfall was also recorded in the states of North India. According to meteorologist Soma Sen, there is a possibility of a western disturbance at the moment, due to  which there will be a slight change in the weather of northwest India.

According to the IMD, people of entire north India, including Delhi, will have to wait for the monsoon. According to the weather forecast, monsoon can reach Delhi NCR by July 1. However, if the monsoon picks up, it can reach the national capital a day or two before that.
