New Delhi: There is a lot of concern about children amid the possibility of a third wave of corona infection. It is necessary to immunize children at the earliest to protect them from the oppression of this wave. In this regard, the Centre told the Delhi High Court on Friday that a clinical trial of the corona vaccine is underway for children below the age of 18 years and is going to be completed soon.

At the same time, the Center has said that the government will soon make a policy regarding this and children will be vaccinated with the approval of experts. Chief Justice D.N. Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh said, 'Let the trial be completed first, otherwise applying the vaccine without trial can cause a lot of problems. After the completion of the trial, you should do the vaccination of the children as soon as possible. The whole country is waiting for this.'

The court has fixed September 6 as the next date of hearing in the case. State that the High Court is hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a minor. It appealed for immediate immunization of children between the ages of 12 and 17 as it is feared that the third wave of corona will affect them the most. The second wave of the corona is yet to be completely eliminated.
