Islamabad: Amidst the discussions on international forums, Pakistan is repeatedly mentioning the Kashmir issue. He gets a befitting reply from India every time in most of the forums including the United Nations General Assembly. However, this time after Pakistan again raised the Kashmir issue during a meeting in the Security Council, India decided not to respond to it. India made it clear that the questions on this issue from Pakistan's side are neither worthy of a response, nor is India trying to escalate the matter by answering on this issue.

Reports say that the Israel-Hamas conflict and the resulting situation in Western Asia was being discussed in the UN Security Council on Tuesday itself. Meanwhile, Pakistan's representative Munir Akram even raised the issue of Kashmir. However, on behalf of India, Deputy Permanent Representative R Ravindra has said that on behalf of a delegation (Pakistani delegation), comments were made regarding the Union Territory of India, which is an integral and indivisible part of India.

Taking his point further, Ravindra has said, "I will ignore these comments as they deserve and understanding the urgency of the moment, I do not want to aggravate it by reacting to them."
