According to media reports, actress Kangana Ranaut again targeted the people who have shown bigotry over festivals in a post. She tweeted, "Christmas greetings only to those who respect and accept all Indian festivals. Merry Christmas to those who do not criticize the Hindus only." Some people also trolled her for this post. One user has accused her of playing politics through this post.

Earlier, Kangana shared a photo of her in the middle of Mexico, wearing a bikini. In the wake of this photograph, a section on social media tried to troll her. While giving a befitting reply to the trolls, Kangana tweeted, "Some people are giving me a lecture of Dharma and Sanatan by looking at my bikini picture, what will happen to you if you ever come out with a mother Bhairawi Bal shell, a non-clothed, blood-drinking image? Jai Shri Ram." Earlier, she had tweeted a woman as the grandmother of Shaheen Bagh, which had a considerable controversy. She had deleted her post, but two legal notices have been sent to her demanding an apology. In addition, several stars including Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh had criticised her.
