The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of a major economic crisis due to the non-availability of foreign aid to Afghan citizens. At the same time, Afghans, who are reeling under drought during the crisis, have spoken very seriously about the situation not improving. WHO said that by the end of this year, 10 lakh children died due to lack of adequate food due to drought.
3.2 million children to be malnourished: According to media reports, WHO continued, saying that Afghans are expected to run out of food by the end of the year, which could lead to at least 3.2 million children suffering from malnutrition. The health organization has issued a warning that food availability will be further affected as the winter season deepens.
Taliban government not getting recognition: Taliban captured the Afghan capital Kabul on August 15, after which it also managed to form its own government. This Government has not been recognized by the Governments of most of the countries. Among them are the European countries and the US, which provide large-scale financial assistance to Afghans. Due to this, the economy there has completely collapsed. WHO has warned of a major crisis caused by the drought.
