Sharad Pawar fought and won from Congress continuously from 1967 to 1990. Who is Ajit Pawar?
Ajit Pawar was born on July 22, 1959, in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra at his grandparents' house. He is the son of NCP President Sharad Pawar's elder brother Anantrao Pawar. His father worked in V Shantaram's Rajkamal Studio. He came into politics following his uncle's footsteps.

In politics, Ajit moved from a politician to become the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He is popular among his fans and public as Dada (elder brother). He did his primary education from Deoli Pravar and he did his secondary education from Maharashtra Education Board. He studied only up to secondary school level.
