Geneva: WHO on Monday warned that the most threatened by Corona infection is hovering over the population of more than 5 lakh tribes worldwide. WHO chief Detros Adhanom Ghebreyes has said that as of July 6, more than 70 thousand cases of corona infection had been reported in the tribe community in the US and 2,000 people have lost their lives.

Ghebreyes says that the living conditions of the people of the tribe community are very poor, their economic condition is also deteriorated, they are also victims of malnutrition as well as have been exposed to communicable and non-communicable diseases. Due to all these circumstances they are very much at risk from corona infection. WHO is very concerned about the impact of covid-19 on the people of the tribe community in America. Recently there have been 6 cases of corona in Nahua tribe in Peru.

The head of the emergency at the WHO has revealed good news about the results shown in initial trials of the corona infection vaccine. However, he said that there will be a long way to go. Dr. Michael Ryan told reporters at a press conference in Geneva that we now need large-scale trials. It is great to see more data and more products in this very important phase of vaccine discovery.
