LOS ANGELES: Bollywood Actress Loulou Taylor was attacked 6 times by a seal in a terrifying ordeal which she compared to a scene from 'Jaws'.

The 'Raised by Wolves' actress was bitten by an animal as she swam in the sea in Cape Town, South Africa, read reports mirror.co.uk.

Before latching onto a small youngster, the seal was initially seen in the shallows. Before heading straight towards the child, it was observed stepping into the water.

Before it turned on Loulou, beachgoers came to his aid. One witness managed to capture the frightening event on camera.

The child is attacked in the waves by the seal after the animal nips at his heels as he tries to flee.

Before removing the youngster from the water, many males were observed pushing the seal pup away.

The creature then swam straight for Loulou, who was alone farther out at sea. She screamed as she made an effort to fend off the animal.

Once everyone got out of the water and rushing to help her, a man seized the animal and hurled it back into the sea.
Loulou said on Instagram that she had been bitten six times and needed medical attention. She also supplied a picture of the "Jaws" poster with a seal in place of the great white shark. She said that the rise in seal attacks is due to an algal bloom that emits neurotoxins. The actress cited "more than likely global warming/water contamination" as the cause.

Two persons were reportedly treated for bite wounds after the seal attack.
