Indore: On Thursday, on the day of Shri Ram Navami, 34 bodies were recovered from the stepwell in the Baleshwar Dham temple in Indore. There are still two people missing. After emptying the water from the stepwell, a complete search will be done. There are big stones and floors inside that will be broken by machine. The debris of the entire stepwell will be searched. A total of more than 150 soldiers from the Army, NDRF, and SDRF were engaged in the rescue.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh inspected the spot after reaching Indore. CM Shivraj Singh, the regional MLA Akash Vijayvargiya, and other leaders accompanying him were returned to Apple Hospital in protest by the families involved in the accident. They protested by raising slogans. The victim's family said, Why is Indore number 1? When there was no arrangement, the army would have been called first. Affected relatives said that they don't do leadership or gimmicks.

Describing the incident in Indore as unfortunate, CM Shivraj said that the rescue operation is going on continuously. I myself was in touch with the rescue operation team and the administration throughout the night. There is one missing, and efforts are being made to find him. There will be a magisterial inquiry into the incident. The police have also registered the case. On the basis of the investigation, action will be taken against the culprits. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that our priority is to find a missing partner after completing the rescue operation. The citizens injured in the incident are being given the best and free treatment in the hospital. The state government will leave no stone unturned to help the aggrieved families. Water is being emptied from the same well, and compensation has been given to the relatives of the deceased.
