Jaipur: In order to maintain law and order during the screening of 'The Kashmir Files' at theaters in Rajasthan's Kota district, authorities on Monday ordered enforcement of Section 144 of CrPC in the entire district from March 22 to April 21. Kota DM said in an order that Section 144 is in force from Tuesday 22 March to 21 April to maintain law and order during the screening of The Kashmir Files. Under which there is a ban on the gathering of more than 5 people anywhere. It is being said by the officials of the Congress government of Rajasthan that this step has been taken as a precaution before many festivals. Also, according to the new order, it has also been said that the crowd should not gather to watch the film 'The Kashmir Files'. In the order issued by the District Collector and District Magistrate (Acting) Rajukmar Singh, there has been a complete ban on the gathering of the crowd, protesting, taking out processions and marches.

However, the festivals of Cheti Chand, Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Baisakhi, Juma-tul-Vida are also coming during this period. The official order states that this order will not apply to government works such as corona vaccination and police programs. According to media reports, film director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has also lodged a strong protest against this ban. Director of 'The Kashmir Files' Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has sought the intervention of Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot in the matter. At the same time, regarding this matter, BJP MLA Ramlal Sharma said, "The mental bankruptcy of the Rajasthan government is over.

The kind of government orders that are coming, will they be obeyed or disobeyed? Such orders are showing the mindset of the Rajasthan government. What is the administration proving by imposing section 144? Will festivals be celebrated only in Kota?' The BJP MLA has demanded from the Rajasthan government that, 'If the Ashok Gehlot government of Congress wants to ban the Kashmir file, then explain its intention and if it is not so, then the government should withdraw this order.' Not only this, MLA Prahlad Gunjal from Kota North East from BJP has also attacked the Rajasthan government's order to implement Section 144, saying that, 'A huge 'Chandi March' will be taken out in Kota North assembly constituency on Tuesday. That's why Section 144 was imposed and 'The Kashmir Files' is just an excuse.'
