Mythology - When the work of tying Ram Sethu on the sea was going on, then the condition of Shani started on Hanumanji. The risk of damage to that Ram Sethu was increased by the demons. Hanumanji is known for his strength and fame, so Lord Shani himself told him the rules of the arrangement of planetary movements. The work of construction of Ram Setu was in the hands of Hanumanji, so he replied, "He respects the law of nature but Ram Seva is primary for him. Therefore, he has to violate this law of nature."

Hanumanji had said one thing in front of Lord Shani. It said that when this Ram's work will finished, I will come to you and hand over my entire body to you. However, Shanidev denied it after hearing this thing of Hanumanji. After this, as soon as Shanidev came to dominate Hanumanji's body, Bajrangbali started hitting himself with huge mountains. Whatever part Lord Shani would dominate at that time, Hanumanji would forcefully hit the same part with the mountains. In the end, Shanidev was badly injured and he also apologized to Hanumanji. It is said that when the injured Shani Dev apologized, Hanumanji showed kindness and gave him sesame oil. While applying this oil, the body of the injured Shani Dev was relieved. After which sesame oil was offered to Lord Shani.
