Lucknow: In Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, a husband killed his wife by stabbing her with a sharp weapon. The husband kept on beating till the wife died, and after that the angry husband also cut the wife's neck. After the wife's murder, the husband reached the police station and surrendered after telling the policemen about the incident. Domestic discord is being told as the reason behind the murder.
The case is of Kharkhoda police station area of ​​Meerut, where 35-year-old Vinod murdered his wife Poonam brutally in the third locality. Earlier there was a dispute between Vinod and Poonam, after which there was a fight between the two and then Vinod stabbed Poonam with a knife and killed her by slitting her throat. After committing the murder, the accused husband himself reached the police station, after which there was a stir in the police department. Police reached the spot in a hurry, after which the body was sent for post-mortem. At the same time, the team of police and forensic department is now engaged in gathering evidence.
The police have also recovered the weapon used in the murder on the spot of the accused. Meerut Superintendent of Police Dehat Keshav Kumar says that a husband has killed his wife with a sharp weapon in the Kharkhoda police station area. The husband's name is Vinod, the accused husband has been arrested and the weapon has also been confiscated. According to SP Dehat Keshav Kumar, the preliminary information that is being received has revealed that the wife used to threaten to kill her husband, on which the husband killed the wife.
