New Delhi: Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and MLA Azam Khan's Eid will be celebrated with family this time or will he have to celebrate the festival in jail? A decision on this will be taken today. His bail plea will be heard in the Supreme Court today. Let us inform that Azam Khan's lawyer had applied for an early decision on bail by applying in the apex court.

It is noteworthy that a total of 72 cases have been registered against Azam Khan since he became an MP in the year 2019. He has been granted bail in 71 of these cases. Only one case remains of enemy property. Meanwhile, Azam Khan's lawyer has filed a petition in the Supreme Court saying that the Allahabad High Court has kept the decision pending for a long time after securing the order on the bail plea. He has urged for an early verdict in the matter. The apex court had fixed May 2 for hearing on this.

At the same time, the High Court can give its verdict in this matter on May 4. Let us tell you that in 2019, a case was registered against Azam Khan in Azimnagar police station for capturing enemy property and mixing it with Jauhar University. The police had also filed a charge sheet in this. The matter was heard on December 4. The court had since then reserved its decision.
