Patna: Once again there has been a political uproar regarding cabinet expansion in Bihar. Bihar Congress unit chief Akhilesh Prasad Singh has given a big statement in Shivhar. He said that 4 places are made for his party in the cabinet. Talks have been held with the Chief Minister (Nitish Kumar) on this. CM Nitish Kumar has also given consent. More ministers will be made from the Congress quota. Now whoever he wants can speak, it has nothing to do with him.
In fact, on the statement of Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav that the cabinet will not be expanded, Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh said that it is the prerogative of the Chief Minister to expand the cabinet. He himself has met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar regarding this issue. CM Nitish has said in the meeting of Madhubani that he will become a minister even from the Congress quota. He further said that now who speaks what, why he speaks, I do not know.
Akhilesh Singh said in clear words that it is not the cabinet of the Deputy CM, but of the CM. CM can keep whomever he wants in his cabinet and can also remove. He said that his party has 19 MLAs and four MLCs. Others have two to four MLAs. His party makes room for 4 in the cabinet. Consent has also been received from the CM for this. Now it has to be seen whether CM Nitish Kumar will go against Tejashwi and make Congress leaders ministers.
