Mumbai: The Parli Court in Beed district of Maharashtra has issued a non-bailable warrant against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray in a 2008 case. In fact, in 2008, MNS workers pelted stones at Transport Corporation buses in support of Raj Thackeray. A case was registered in this regard. Now the court has issued a non-bailable warrant against the MNS chief regarding the same matter.
According to the information, Raj Thackeray was asked to appear in the court after the hearing of the stone pelting case on Transport Corporation buses started in the court. However, Raj Thackeray did not appear in any of the hearings. Even after bail, when Raj Thackeray did not appear on consecutive dates, a non-bailable warrant was issued.
Earlier, the court had issued an arrest warrant on February 10. After this, he was directed to appear before the court till April 13, but Raj Thackeray did not appear before the court till April 13. Now in this case, the Parli court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Raj Thackeray.
