Rising Star is music based talent reality show for which this time the makers are looking forward to cast a Bollywood actress as one of the judge of the show with Shankar Mahadevan and Diljit Dosanjh already nods to be judges.

“The third judge will be an actress. Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Shruti Haasan have been approached. However Sonakshi was part of Indian Idol Junior and Alia is busy with films. It is doubtful whether she will want to do TV at this age. Shruti is more likely to give a nod – she is herself musically inclined as she is a a singer too,” as informed by insider.

Indian trilingual spy thriller film 'Sabaash Naidu' which is co-produced, written and also made under direction of her father Kamal Haasan is the film for which Shruti has completed the shooting schedule. And most probably she will be available for the show.
