New Delhi: Azim Premji and his wife Yasim have filed a petition in the apex court on Saturday. In which there is a demand to cancel the summons issued by the Bengaluru court. This summon has been issued on the basis of the criminal complaint filed by Azim Premji against merging three companies named Vidya, Regal and Nepean with Hashim Investment and Trading Company.

Azim Premji and his wife have said in the petition filed in the Supreme Court that these three companies which were reorganized in 1974 and their shareholding in the year 1980 were linked in this way. Under which any two of the three companies will own the third company. This entire process was carried out in the year 2015 after taking the cognizance of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) RBI, after the approval of the Karnataka High Court. Full details of this were given to SEBI, Stock Exchange and Ministry of Company Affairs in 2015.

A Chennai company had filed a criminal case in Lower Court against such a merger of three companies in Hashim Investment and Trading Company. On which the court sent summons against Azim Premji and his wife after taking cognizance.
