Team India's veteran batsman Suresh Raina has bid farewell to international cricket. Before the start of IPL, the two CSK stalwarts have shocked everyone by announcing their retirement. Raina, who was struggling with injury and poor form, was struggling to make a place in the team. Shortly after the news of Dhoni's retirement, he also shared a photo and thanked the former captain and told him to travel with him.

Suresh Raina, who played for a long time with Mahi, decided to say goodbye to international cricket along with his former captain. The left-handed batsman made his international debut against Sri Lanka in 2005 at the age of 19 in 2005. Raina became the first Indian batsman to score an international century in all three formats - Test, ODI and T20 from India. After 5 years of making ODIs, he got his first Test match in the year 2010. He played his first Test match against Sri Lanka. He posted a picture with CSK captain Mahi and colleagues. Sharing the photo, Raina wrote, "Enjoyed playing with you very much, Mahi Bhai. My heart is filled with pride and I also choose to go on this journey with you. Thanks India, Jai Hind." It was clear from Raina's photos and message that now he will not be seen again in international cricket. Along with Mahi, he also announced his retirement. Raina scored 5615 runs for India in 226 ODIs, in which 5 century innings were present. He has 1605 runs in 78 T20 matches, with a century in the innings. He got an opportunity to play just 18 Test matches from India, with 768 runs. Raina also has a century in Tests.
