After this, the woman came to Bhopal and lodged a complaint with the police. A case under Sections 377, 498A, 323, 506, 34, 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered against the accused husband, his mother and sister-in-law. Further investigation into the case is underway.
