In Jammu and Kashmir, a 19-year-old girl was killed and her mother injured in an explosion in Kupwara district on Thursday. This information was given by the police. A police official said Sara Begum (49), a resident of Sharkut Willgam area of Handwara, and her daughter Gulnaz Bano had gone to the forest on Wednesday to collect vegetables and a bomb shell may have come with them from the forest. He said, "When they opened the bag of vegetables, there was an explosion which injured both of them. "

It is learnt that the duo was taken to a hospital where Gulnaz lost his life. A case is being registered and an inquiry is being conducted in this regard.
