Katihar: A woman has given birth to a baby girl in the Rajdhani Express from Delhi to Dibrugarh (12424). However, the incident has exposed the poor condition of medical system of the Indian Railways. On the other hand, the TTE introduced humanity and sought help from women across the train to help the pregnant woman. The woman then gave birth to a baby girl on the train itself.

A woman has given birth to a baby girl in the Rajdhani Express on its way from New Delhi to Dibrugarh. However, the absence of any medical facility in the VIP train like Rajdhani Express and even at stations has exposed the medical system of the Indian Railways. In fact, the woman was travelling from Delhi to Barauni with her family by The Rajdhani Express. During this period, the woman began to suffer childbirth between Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (Mughalsarai) and Danapur Rail section.

After which medical facilities were sought. But nothing could be done on the part of the Railways. An unapproval for a doctor was also conducted on behalf of the Railway Control. But still no doctor was found. Doctors were also discovered at several stations, but no doctors were found for the woman. The TTE then sought help from the female passengers of the train to help the woman. After which some women passengers made safe deliveries of the woman.
