Giridih: A woman along with her 2 children jumped into an irrigation well on the day of Holi at Deori in Giridih district of Jharkhand. In this case, the woman suffered minor injuries. But both of his children lost their lives. The incident took place at Deori village under the Deori police station area. The reason behind the case is said to be a family feud. Police are investigating the case. The whole village is full of weeds.
According to the information received, Mamta Devi, wife of Pramod Yadav, a resident of Deori village, left the house at around 1 pm with the intention of suicide, with her two children and jumped into the irrigation well with her son Chiku Kumar (2 years) and daughter Suhani Kumari (5 years). The woman suffered minor injuries. But both children lost their lives. It is being said that the woman had taken this step to commit suicide in a family dispute.
As soon as the woman came to know that she had left the house with the children, the family members were searching for her. During the search, it was found that Mamta Devi had jumped the irrigation well in the field with the children. On receiving the news, the villagers gathered at the spot and pulled out the woman and her children from the well. Subsequently, they were taken to the Community Health Centre at Deori, where both the children were declared brought dead by the doctors. The case is now being investigated by the police.
