Agra: A woman allegedly killed her eight-month- pregnant sister-in-law after the two had an argumentThe accused allegedly slit the throat of the deceased and stabbed her multiple times. The body of the deceased was sent for a post-mortem.
According to the report, the alleged incident took place in Mohanpura which falls under the Rakabganj police station limits. In the preliminary investigation, it is found that the accused and the deceased had an argument before the incident. Following their argument, the accused allegedly took the deceased to her room and locked her in. After locking her, she allegedly stabbed the deceased with a knife. The accused then tried to kill herself.
The accused allegedly attempted to commit suicide after killing her sister-in-law. The accused allegedly stabbed herself with the same knife.
Station House Officer of Rakabganj, Vivek Trivedi Times of India that the police are yet to identify the reason behind the incident.
The family of the two women broke open the door and found the bodies of the two women. The accused was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition while her sister-in-law passed away on the spot.
