PILIBHIT:  In the district of Pilibhut, Uttar Pradesh, a chilling crime unfolded as a woman was apprehended for a shocking act of violence. Confessing to a heinous act, she revealed that she had brutally ended her husband's life using an axe and then proceeded to dismember his body into five gruesome pieces.

Prior to the dreadful act, the woman had restrained her husband, tying him to a cot, before committing the horrific crime of slicing him apart.

The victim was identified as Ram Pal, a 55-year-old resident of Shivnagar in the Gajraula area.

The events leading up to this tragedy involved Ram Pal's wife, Dularo Devi, who had vanished with her husband's friend for a short period. However, she returned to the village just a month ago and informed her son about her husband's mysterious disappearance.

Son Pal, the grieving son of the deceased, resided nearby with his own family. Concerned about his missing father, he filed a report with the local police station.

In light of certain suspicions surrounding Dularo Devi, the police took her into custody and began an intense interrogation about her husband's whereabouts.

Eventually, during questioning, Ram Pal's wife made a shocking confession. She admitted to taking her husband's life while he slept on a fateful Sunday night.

In addition to her confession, she revealed that she disposed of the dismembered body parts in a nearby canal, attempting to hide the evidence of her gruesome act.

To aid in the investigation, the authorities sought the expertise of divers to recover Ram Pal's remains from the canal. Furthermore, they discovered blood-stained clothing and a mattress belonging to the deceased at the scene.

As the investigation continues to unfold, the police spokesperson has assured the public that they are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice.
