Patna: A video from Bihta in Bihar's capital Patna is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this video, some miscreants are seen dragging and beating a female mining inspector on the ground. On Monday, due to the check for sand overload, the sand mafia attacked the police team with bricks and stones. The members of the mining team were chased and killed. Many police personnel ran away, but the inspector was surrounded.

In the same incident, many policemen, including the mining inspector, were injured. On the other hand, in this case, the SSP of Patna confirmed the incident and said that the action has started. This incident happened in Bihta. Three FIRs have been registered. So far, 44 people have been arrested. In Bihta block, raids were conducted today against overloading vehicles as well as illegal mining under the leadership of the District Mining Officer, District Transport Officer, Additional Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Danapur Police Station. The police team had reached out in huge numbers for this action. The miscreants started pelting stones at the raiding team near the closed petrol pump under Koilwar bridge. Two mining inspectors, including the district mining officer, were injured in this. At the same time, all three were admitted to the hospital for treatment.

On the same news, the Collector of Patna immediately sent a sub-divisional officer, a sub-divisional police officer, and Danapur Police Station to the spot. Intensive raids are being conducted against those who pelt stones. An FIR has been registered against 44 people. About 50 other vehicles have also been seized. Action is also being taken to register an FIR against the vehicle owners and drivers. The Superintendent of Police West, Sub-Divisional Officer, and Sub-Divisional Police Officer are engaged in action in Danapur Bihta itself.
