Actually this woman got pregnant again just a few weeks after getting pregnant. It conceived twice at an interval of four weeks and has now given birth to twins. In an unusual and rare case, a woman has given birth to twin sisters with a difference of four weeks between them, according to reports. Scanning revealed that the two babies, Darcy and Holly, were in different sizes in the womb. Sophie Small, 30, from Leominster, England, was told about a phenomenon called superfetation, in which a pregnancy is followed by a second pregnancy.
Some cases of superfetation have been reported in the medical literature, but these cases are mostly related to women who undergo fertility treatments such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). When a woman becomes pregnant for the second time due to pregnancy, this condition is called superfetation. A few days after the start of your first pregnancy or after about 1 month, when your egg comes in contact with the sperm, it becomes fertilized. Due to this, another new pregnancy starts. Often twins are born from superfetation. They are often born together or on the same day. In superfetation, the egg of a pregnant woman is fertilized and implanted separately in the womb.

And third- implanting the fertilized egg in the uterus, while an embryo is already implanted. If all these improbable events happen, then 2 pregnancies can happen at the same time. But the gestational age of these fetuses in these wombs will be different. This means that the two children will develop at different stages. These twins are very different from normal twins, which develop from two fertilized eggs and develop identically.
