Kabul: Ever since taking over afghanistan's power, the taliban terror group has been imposing new restrictions on women. In this order, now the Taliban has issued a new decree. According to it, men and women will not be able to go together in the parks of the capital Kabul. At the same time, a single woman in the plane will not be allowed to travel. It has been made mandatory for a male relative to be with you for aira travel.
According to a media report, Afghan Airline officials have reported that dozens of women who arrived at Kabul's international airport to board domestic and international flights were told that they could not travel without a male guardian. An official said some of the women had dual citizenship and were returning to their homes from other countries. Some of them were from Canada. Women were not allowed to board flights of Cam Air and state-run Ariana Airlines to Islamabad, Dubai and Turkey. He said the order was given by the Taliban leadership. Although some women were allowed to board an Ariana Airlines flight after much struggle in the western Herat province, the plane had already departed by then.
It is being told that the airport president and the police chief (both Islamic clerics) held a meeting with airline officials on Saturday (March 26, 2022) to resolve the issue. At the moment, it is not clear whether air travel restrictions on more than 72 km without taking along the male relatives of women, which were imposed by the Taliban months ago, will exclude air travel. Under another order, now only women will be allowed to enter the park on 3 days a week and the remaining 4 days men will be allowed inside the park. The Taliban's Ministry of Culture said in its order that women will be able to visit kabul's public parks only on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Men will be able to go on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Women will get entry into the park only if they are wearing a hijab. The Taliban said that if women go to the public park on the days assigned to men or men in the days prescribed for women, they will be severely punished and no one will be allowed to appeal against it.
