New Delhi: The cold and fog outbreak in north India, including the country's capital Delhi, is not abating. There are only a few days left for the end of January, but still, the cold is not going to fade away. IMD predicts that a similar cold wave will continue to occur in many parts of north India for the next few days. The IMD has issued a 'Cold Day' alert for many parts of the country, including Delhi, today i.e. on January 26. At the same time, dense fog will prevail in many states including Punjab, Haryana in the morning and evening, which may affect normal life.

According to the IMD, today's minimum temperature in the national capital Delhi is likely to be 7 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 15 degrees Celsius. IMD has issued a 'Cold Day' alert. However, the sky is expected to remain clear during the day. Talking about Chandigarh, the minimum temperature can be reduced here today. The minimum temperature here can be 10 degrees Celsius and most of the temperature can be 17 degrees Celsius. There will be fog in the morning and evening. In Uttarakhand capital Dehradun, today's minimum temperature is expected to be 8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 19 degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday, the minimum temperature in Jaipur in Rajasthan is likely to be seven degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius. The sky will be clear. The minimum temperature in Jammu is likely to be 5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be 18 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the mercury in Leh is likely to fall by minus 14 degrees Celsius on January 26, while the maximum temperature will remain minus three degrees Celsius.
