Today is the birth anniversary of the country's first Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The world's largest cricket stadium named after him is being discussed a lot on the occasion. It is the world's largest stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.  The stadium, located on 63 acres of land, has cost a total of Rs 700 crore. 1 lakh 10 thousand people will be able to sit together and enjoy cricket in this stadium.

The world's largest stadium is located in the Motera area of the city, named Sardar Patel Gujarat stadium, which was later renamed the Narendra Modi Stadium. However, it is located inside the Narendra Modi Stadium, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave.  With a capacity of 110,000 spectators, the stadium is bigger than Australia's Melbourne Cricket Ground. The highlight of this stadium is that the entire stadium has been built on 63 acres of land.

The world's largest stadium also has three practice grounds, clubhouses, Olympic size swimming pools and an indoor cricket academy. The structure of this stadium is such that every cricket lover sitting in the stadium will be able to see the boundary whenever a player hits a boundary. Special arrangements have been made for the parking of cars and scooters. It has parking arrangements for 4,000 cars and 10,000 two-wheelers.
