World-class Hyderabad metro witnessed PM Modi as a first rider

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated Hyderabad Metro Rail and took the first train ride along with the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Addressing at the airport, the PM stated today, the world eyes on Hyderabad. "This city is hosting a prominent global summit where industry leaders across the world are united," PM Modi lauded on Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017.

"In the southern part of the nation, the BJP has not served in the government. So far, our representatives are always working on this soil and always being with people," stated the PM Modi.

"We have faith in cooperative federalism. There is no question of discriminating in opposition to states where we are not in power. We are loyal towards the overall progress of our nation."

People can trip to the world-class metro from Wednesday when 30-km extend from Nagole to Miyapur will be opened for commercial operations.

The extent with 24 stations covers a number of busy huddles and city landmarks, along with the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Osmania University, Secunderabad Railway Station and major profit-making centers like Begumpet and Ameerpet.

Other major traits will be the incorporation of another mode of transport like buses, taxis, auto-rickshaws and even bicycles to make sure end-to-end connectivity.
