New Delhi: In the midst of the Russia-Ukraine war, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that India's strong independent stand has allowed it to prioritize its national interests without any international pressure. Referring to the Russo-Ukraine war, he said, 'At a time when the whole world is divided into two camps. India can take an independent stand for humanity. India has put its national interests first.

PM Modi said on the 42nd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 'This year's foundation day has become very important for three reasons. First we are celebrating 75 years of independence. This is a prime opportunity for inspiration. Second, the rapidly changing global situation. New opportunities are constantly emerging for India. PM Narendra Modi further said that, 'This is the nectar of the 75th year of India's independence. So we need to take local products to global level and ensure social justice. Working in this direction, BJP is continuously strengthening its motto of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'.

PM Modi said that India has recently achieved its export target of 400 billion US dollars. He said that, 'This achievement in the midst of the pandemic demonstrates India's superior capabilities.' He further said that India is providing free ration to 80 crore people of the poor section of the society amid the biggest international threat in 100 years. The central government is spending around 3.5 lakh crores to ensure that no Indian sleeps hungry.
