World Student Day is celebrated on the 15th of October. The World Students' Day will be observed on Thursday this year. The World Student Day was announced on Monday 15th October 2018. Leaders of all ages of all political parties paid tributes to India's greatest leader, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. In his honor, a number of programs were also conducted in schools and colleges. Recalling him, PM Modi said that Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was a teacher, a good motivator, and a fine scientist who lives in the hearts of every Indian.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam played a motivational and guiding role for all categories and caste students. His own life as a student was very challenging and in his life, he faced a variety of difficulties and challenges. Even during his scientific and political career, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam considered himself a teacher, and addressing the students was his most beloved task. Whether it is a student in a village or a student at a big college or university. He had some fondness for teaching that at one point in time he left the post of cabinet class as the chief scientific advisor to the Government of India in his life and chose the post of a teacher.
