All of you must have eaten gulab jamuns and rasgullas till today, but today we are going to tell you moong dal ke vadas. We are sure that you have hardly tasted its taste. These vadas soaked in sugar are very soft and dissolve in the mouth as soon as they are eaten. So now we tell you how to make Moong Dal Ras Vada.

Ingredients for making Moong Dal Ras Vada-

1/2 cup yellow moong dal
4 saffron strands
1 cup sugar
100 grams paneer
2 green cardamoms
1 cup vegetable oil

Method of making Moong Dal Ras Vada- To make this, first soak the moong dal. Now wash the lentils 3-4 times and soak them in hot water for 45 minutes and drain all the water and put the soaked lentils in the blender. After this, blend well to make a thick and smooth paste. Now add paneer pieces, 2-3 tbsp of water in the blender and blend well once again. After this, put 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a pan and keep it on medium heat and let the sugar dissolve completely.

Now add ground cardamom and saffron strands and let the syrup cook till it becomes slightly thick. Now use a spoon or whisk and whisk the batter for at least 2-3 minutes. This will make it bloated. After this, heat oil in a pan and use a spoon to drop small pieces/tablets of the batter in the hot oil and keep frying it till golden. Now put the vadas in the syrup and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. Take your soft and delicious Moong Dal Ras Vadas are ready.
