Panipat: The wedding rituals of  Babita Phogat have started at the home of wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Babita Phogat, popularly known as Dangal Girl, is going to tie knot with her fiance Vivek Suhag on 1 December in marriage. The reception will be held in Delhi on 2 December.

On Wednesday, the women at the Charkhi Dadri residence sang traditional Mangal songs and performed the ceremony. Babita's wedding may include Bollywood stars and sports personalities. Babita has invited many celebrities including actors Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol. The wedding ceremony will be held in Babali's ancestral village Balali in Charkhi Dadri. Whereas, the reception will be held in Delhi on 2 December. Vivek will reach Balali with only 21 wedding processions and complete the wedding rituals. Vivek Suhag is originally a resident of Mathanahal, a village in Jhajjar. He won the Bharat Kesari Award in the year 2018. Babita and Vivek got engaged on 18 May.

Let us tell you that Babita Phogat quit the job of Sub Inspector in Haryana Police and contested in the assembly elections held in October from Dadri constituency. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had fielded her by giving them tickets, but they lost the election.
