Chinese tech company Xiaomi has captured the Indian Smart TV market in just a few years. The third-quarter results of 2019 have arrived and in this quarter the company has achieved a 33% Smart TV market share. This data is from the International Data Corporation (IDC). According to Xiaomi, Mi TV has achieved great success in India and has achieved a quarter-on-quarter growth of 46% and a year-on-year growth of 69%. Xiaomi has said that according to IDC data, Xiaomi's share of MI TV is 19% higher than Samsung India. The company has said that the market share of Mi TV in India is 20% higher than LG, while it is 20% more than Sony.

Xiaomi's category and online sales head Raghu Reddy has said, "Keeping India in focus, our TVs always provide content first and better experience. Patchwall has been provided in MI TV where more than 16 languages, more than 18 content partners and live news are also available. All the TVs have been customized keeping in mind the Indian users and features like Data Saver, Vivid Picture Engine has been given.' According to Xiaomi, Mi TVs are available on more than 70 Mi Homes in India. Apart from this, these smart TVs are available at 2,500 Mi Stores and preferred partner outlets.
