New Delhi: Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur is all set to launch the themes of Y20 summit, logo and website in the Curtain raiser event of Y20 Summit India today at Akashwani Rang Bhawan. India is hosting the Y20 summit for the first time.
The themes of the Y20 summit, the logo, and the website will all be unveiled in New Delhi today during the curtain-raiser event for the Y20 Summit India, said Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur.
The second part of the event will also feature panel discussions with young achievers. It will centre on how India can use its youth population to become a superpower and talk about the panellists' individual success stories.
India is reportedly contributing significantly to the search for practical answers at the global level to ensure holistic wellbeing that embodies the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
The Y20 summit is being held in India for the first time. India's main goal in the Youth 20 Engagement Group is to gather young leaders from all across the world to explore concepts for a better future and create an action plan. The focus of Y20's initiatives during India's presidency would be on international young leadership and collaboration.
Pre-summits on the five Y20 topics will be held over the course of the next eight months, along with numerous talks and seminars at various universities across the nation, as a lead-up to the final Youth-20 Summit.
