It is very difficult to make a special identity in the Bollywood film industry. But once that identity is achieved, success begins to start. Just as Dilip Kumar is considered to be the Shiromani of Tragedy in Bollywood, Manoj Kumar, popularly known as Bharat Kumar, wrote a different story of patriotism on screen and then Yash Chopra has no other way to bring romance on screen today. Yash Chopra is called the "King of Romance" of Hindi films. Yash Chopra, who has made many brilliant and romantic films like Deewar, Kabhi Kabhie, Dar, Chandni, Silsila, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer Zara, has given new meaning to romance and love on screen.

Yash Chopra passed away on this day even though Yash Chopra is not among us today but his memories are still alive in everyone's hearts. After independence, Yash Chopra came to India. His elder brother B.R. Chopra was a well-known Bollywood filmmaker and director. It was at the inspiration of his elder brother that he also tried his hand at films and today Yash Chopra's family is one of the most prestigious banners of Bollywood. His sons Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra are also associated with films.

Yash Chopra started working as a co-director with his brother. He directed five films continuously under the banner of his brother B.R. Chopra. These films include 'Ek Rasta,' 'Sadhana,' and 'Naya Daur.' Thereafter, Yash Chopra started working as a director. He first directed the 1959 film 'Dhool Ka Phool' under his brother's banner. He then directed "Dharma Putra" under the banner of his brother. Both the films were average successful but Yash Chopra's hard work is visible today.
