Yogendra Vikram Singh, who essayed the character of Samrat in the show Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein, has been receiving a lot of affection on social media. He says people have reached out to him on how they miss seeing him on the show.

"I am blessed that the audience has liked my role and I was shocked entirely with the way they poured their affection and love on me. My track is completed but I did not know that people would miss me this much. Even I miss playing the role of Samrat. The reason why I miss playing Samrat is because it was a complex character and I had many layers and had a distinct identity on the show."

The actor, who has been in shows like Jaat Na Poocho and movies like NH10, Saand Ki Aankh and Trapped, shares how he loves playing diverse characters and how he is looking forward to doing interesting work on various different mediums. He says, "I would want to play solid and real roles and also feel that I can take the show forward on my shoulders and so makers should cast me in the main lead roles."

He enjoyed working with the whole Ghum Hai Kisike cast and crew but he shares a extra special bond with his on-screen mother and co-star Rupa Divetia. He says, "I look at her as mother figure in real life as well. Rupaji played my mother on the screen and after that we formed a great connection and I have always looked up to her. The motherly connect with her will remain the same in real life. I also share a close friendship with Mitali (Naag). She and I are great colleagues, as well."
