Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to take strict action against those who perpetrate violence and sabotage in the movement against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Yogi has asked the accused named in the past violence, arson, and sabotage in the state to speed up the recovery process.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister said that early notice should be given to recover the damages from the accused who have been named in the incidents that happened in some districts in December 2019 and the recovery action should be started. They have been asked to ensure the participation of people and public representatives.
