Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow today reached at the hospital to meet the acid attack victim. He also announced to give her compensation of rs 1 lakh.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi as per the sources news said told the media that "The victim is pleading for justice from the last eight years. However, no action was taken in the case during the tenure of Samajwadi Party Government and the culprits continued to move freely," 

The victim on Thursday was forced to drink acid after which she was immediately taken to hospital for the treatment.
