Chief Minister Yogi has directed that the number of laboratories will be increased for conducting biological products. Along with Lucknow, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur, one lab each should be set up in Bundelkhand and Western UP. It is better to set up such a lab in Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in each district. According to the guidelines of the Government of India, the 500 Haat penetration to be made in the state should be made with the consent of the identified Gram Panchayats. Panchayats should be made accountable for their maintenance. Panchayats should also charge a minimum fee for this.
