Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath government is going to give a New Year gift to the workers of the state in this election environment with a big relief. Meanwhile, the Yogi government is gearing up to provide maintenance allowance to unorganized sector workers. State that the government will provide maintenance allowance to registered workers of the state in two instalments of Rs. 1000-1000. The labour department has also issued orders for the same.
On the other hand, this amount of allowance will go to all unorganized sector workers who will be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Workers Social Security Board by December 31. In fact, the Yogi government has made a provision to give this amount in the second supplementary budget of the current financial year presented during the winter session of the assembly. At the same time, the state government has made arrangements of Rs. 4,000 crore to provide maintenance allowance of Rs. 2,000 to the workers.
At present, 2.5 crore workers have been registered in the Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Workers Board so far. This amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of the workers. 1000/- as first instalment of allowance to the workers for the last 2 months. However, the amount will be provided through the Uttar Pradesh Unorganized Workers Social Security Board.
