Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh will now provide financial assistance of Rs 25,000 under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana launched to promote daughters. At present, in this scheme, financial assistance of 15 thousand rupees has been given in six different phases from the birth of daughters to their studies. To fulfil this promise made in the BJP's Sankalp Patra, the Women's Welfare Department has included it in the 100-day action plan. Soon, the department will send a proposal for the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana for cabinet approval.

Let us know that the Kanya Sumangala scheme is like a protective shield for daughters. Under this scheme, the government gives financial assistance from one thousand rupees to five thousand rupees in six different categories between birth and higher education. CM Yogi Adityanath wants people to celebrate the birth of girls as a celebration. In view of the success of the Kanya Sumangala scheme of Yogi government 1.0, the BJP in its Sankalp Patra had promised to increase the amount of financial assistance received in this scheme to Rs 25,000. The Women's Welfare Department has been engaged in fulfilling this promise of the BJP. Along with this, the women who get destitute women's pensions will also be sent to their bank accounts for the first quarter of the financial year 2022-23. The launch of the new Management Information System (MIS) portal of the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana is also included in the 100-day action plan.

Let us know that, more children are living in the government communication homes of UP than the capacity, so the government has built a new observation home of 50 children capacity in Shahjahanpur. Its inauguration has also been included in the 100-day action plan. With its operation, the number of observation homes in the state will go up to 27.
