LUCKNOW: Finance Minister in the Uttar Pradesh government Suresh Khanna on Thursday said the poor have the first right over the state's resources. He said that the BJP government will fulfil every promise of its Sankalp Patra. Along with this, full attention will also be paid to the economic management of the state. The Government will not take any step which will make it appear that the Government treasury is being looted.

He said this while presenting an account of the revenue received by the UP government in the last financial year. The Finance Minister informed that revenue of 1 lakh 47 thousand 843 crore rupees have been received in the financial year 2021-22. This is 25 thousand 226 crores more than 2020-21.
