First Kejriwal called 'Kashmir Files' a false film, now says BJP is responsible for Pandits massacre

New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had faced all-around criticism after he termed The Kashmir Files, a film on the gruesome massacre and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, as a false film. After which, now Kejriwal has engaged in damage control and has started blaming the BJP for the plight of Kashmiri Pandits. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national president Arvind Kejriwal has hit out at the BJP government.

Kejriwal has said that at that time there was a BJP-backed government in the country and there was President's rule in Jammu and Kashmir, so it becomes clear that the BJP is responsible for the injustice on Kashmiri Pandits and even after 32 years of this incident, the BJP talks about making this film tax-free. Kejriwal also targeted the Modi government at the Centre. Talking to the media, Kejriwal said that today these people talk about making The Kashmir Files tax-free, but the BJP government was responsible for what happened at that time, in the 32 years after that incident, the BJP has ruled the Centre for 15 years, but so far the government has not taken any concrete step for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits. This shows that the BJP government is responsible for the atrocities committed on Kashmiri Pandits.

Kejriwal further said that at that time (at the time of the massacre of Kashmiri Hindus) there was a BJP-backed government in the country and there was President's rule in Jammu and Kashmir, the Governor also belonged to the BJP. Not only this, in Jammu and Kashmir also, the BJP has run the government in an alliance. If the BJP was really worried about the Kashmiri Pandits, why were they not rehabilitated even after so much time had passed?
